Hello Kids and Families!

April 8th is Passover. In Exodus, Pharaoh was doing all kinds of bad things to the Israelites. The Israelites are God’s children, just like you are God’s child. God told Pharaoh, the mean ruler, to let his children go. God wanted his Israelite children to listen and obey him, but Pharaoh said that they had to obey him only! God did not like this. Therefore, many bad things happened to Pharaoh and the Egyptians. One night, God told his servants Moses and Aaron to tell Pharaoh, "This is your last chance; if you don’t let my people go; then something really bad is going to happen to you." Pharaoh still said, "NO, I will not let them go!"

God told Moses and Aaron to tell the Israelites to kill a lamb. Remember, we talked about how a lamb represents Jesus in the Bible? The Israelites (God's Children) would put the blood on the doorpost of their houses. Then God said, for whoever does this, the bad thing that is coming to Pharaoh and the Egyptians will PASS OVER THEIR HOUSES!!!!

Kids, I want you to think about this... I have been praying that Jesus’ Blood would cover your homes. Your parents have been praying Jesus’ Blood over your house. This virus has to PASS OVER YOUR HOUSE! It cannot hurt you or your family. The Bible says it and the Bible is true and what God says is true so this has to happen.

Repeat this prayer with me:
Jesus thank you that I am your child. Your Bible says that if we ask then we receive, so I am asking you to cover my house with Jesus’ Blood and I declare that this virus will PASS OVER MY HOUSE just like the story in the Bible. Thank you, Jesus!
Amen

I’m praying for you and I love you guys!!

Be Blessed,
Pastor Christina

Exodus 12:13 NKJV Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Hi families!

This week read or have your child read Ephesians 6:13-18. Then they should get creative and put on the Whole Armor of God. This means your child should find something in your house to use for the armor of God.

For example, your child could use a cape on their chest for the Breastplate of Righteousness.

The Sword of the Spirit should definitely be the Bible.

The kids can draw and cut out the armor or find things around the house to dress up in.

I’m praying for you and your kids during this time. AND I cannot wait to get back to church to see your kids!!

Be Blessed,

Pastor Christina

Ephesians 6:13 NKJV Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Hi everyone!

In an effort to keep the kids' minds off the bad stuff let’s have the kids focus on the good stuff...God!

We went over the memory verse below on Sunday.

Have the kids memorize it, it doesn’t have to be perfectly worded. I want them to understand we don’t have to be fearful during this time. When they tell you it, please let me know. I will keep a running tab and get them McDonald's Gift Cards!!

Be Blessed!!

Pastor Christina
